Retreat in Tiruvannamalai, January 2025
Dates: Friday, 24th, Saturday, 25th, Sunday, 26th January, 2025

Note: This is an immersive retreat where full participation is requested over the three days. It is advised to check in on 23rd Jan, Thursday (a day prior to the retreat) and check out on 27th Jan. For the three-day retreat, it is encouraged that all participants attend both the morning and afternoon sessions. For those not staying at Sparsa, participation in the informal post-dinner outdoor gathering is optional, though it has become an enjoyable part of the retreat experience.
Tentative daily schedule:
Satsang: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Meditation: 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm
After-dinner meetup: 8:30 pm – 9:15 pm

Contribution to cover expenses:
Gautam does not charge any fee for his time and for conducting the retreat. Some volunteers have thus far helped cover costs for venue, travel, filming, equipment, etc., to support the coming together of others too who may benefit from the teaching.
So that expenses get evenly distributed amongst all participants, we request a contribution. Any contribution you make will go a long way in helping us spread the teachings and cover regular expenses. It would be greatly appreciated so we, as a collective, can equally support the teaching. You are welcome to contribute any amount as you wish, though the suggested slabs per person are below:

Refund Policy for contribution amount
Cancellation by participants
If a cancellation is made more than 30 days before the retreat, a full refund of your contribution amount will be provided.
If a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the retreat but more than a week before the scheduled date, a 50% refund will be issued.
Cancellations made within a week before the retreat will not be eligible for a refund.
Please note that it does not include refunds for your personal flight and accommodation bookings. You may refer to the airline and hotel refund policies.
Note: Refunds outside India will not be possible as it is operationally cumbersome. Reimbursement to a local Indian bank account is possible.
Cancellation of the Event
In the unlikely circumstance of the event being canceled, 100% refund of your contribution amount will be provided. Please note that it does not include refunds for your personal flight and accommodation bookings. You may refer to the airline and hotel refund policies.
RSVP:
Please confirm your participation by filling in the form below AND emailing us at retreat@gautamsachdeva.com with your name and contact number. Please make your own arrangements for accommodation and food, and pay your hotel of choice directly for it.
WhatsApp Group
You will be added to a temporary WhatsApp group closer to the retreat date. This will be the point of communication amongst the participants and the organizers.

It is advisable to stay at or around Sparsa Resort, depending on one’s budget.

For alternative hotel accommodation, please see below. You are free to stay anywhere in Tiruvannamalai as per your convenience, but please ensure you are able to make it to Sparsa in time for all the sessions.
Attendance for Outsiders
To maintain the retreat’s sanctity, it’s preferred that friends of participants (who are in Tiruvannamalai but not part of the retreat) avoid attending a single satsang session just to get a taste of it. This approach helps preserve the integrity and flow of the entire three-day experience. The morning session on the third day is an open satsang, which friends can attend.
