Once again
"I take this opportunity to welcome you. One unity consciousness, one Source. It is in this awareness that you are welcomed." — M.C.
My experience begins with me. I am the creator. I am responsible. This is conscious living. — M.C.
In the systematic process of awakening kundalini, first step is to awaken purify Ida & Pingla nadis & create harmony in their functioning. Next all the chakras have to be awakened. Then Sushumna is awakened. Even if all the chakras from mooladhara upto ajna are awakened this does not mean kundalini is awakened.
Suppose kundalini has awakened before Sushumna awakening has taken place, then the Shakti will not find a channel towards Shiva.
Ida & Pingla nadis are responsible for the mundane existence. Pingla conducts the life that is in yr. body & Ida conducts the consciousness.
Through pranayama & yoga these are brought into balance.
"I have only three things to teach: simplicity, patience and compassion. These three are your greatest treasures." — Lao Tzu
The foundation of multi-dimensional experience is the Primary Trinity of the physical, emotional and mental dimensions.
Simplicity is the mental dimension. It implies one-pointedness and focus which is essential to balance within this dimension.
Patience is the physical dimension. It implies relaxation and the absence of stress which is essential to balance within this dimension.
Compassion is the emotional dimension. It implies contentment and love as a shareable experience which is essential to balance within this dimension.
Without balance & harmonic coherence within these three dimensions, multi-dimensional actualization is impossible. Wholeness or unity consciousness is built on the foundation of the Primary Trinity and thus they are considered your greatest assets.
The Primary Trinity of the Physical, Emotional and Mental Dimensions is the densest of our dimensions wherein consciousness is most obscured or not in recognition of itself.
We cannot actualize our subtler dimensionality without harmonic coherence in this Primary Trinity. The experience of witness consciousness is subtler dimensional actualization. It is consciousness in recognition of itself... as both subject and object... or the experience of unity consciousness / wholeness / oneness.
Those whose focus is conscious living, utilize meditation as a balancing technique to deliver the harmonic coherence necessary to the experience of unity consciousness.
Within the Relative Field which governs all experience, the polarities can be represented as truth and illusion. Truth is being and illusion is becoming... or subject and object... positive and negative... I am and I am not. Yet, the substratum of the Relative Field is One Source Consciousness. Truth is consciousness & illusion is consciousness; in essence, they are not diff. from each other. This is holistic awareness or One Source Consciousness in the recognition of itself.
As One Source Consciousness fragments itself in multi-dimensional experience from subtle to dense, holistic awareness is forfeited. The speed of relative oscillation decelerates and the polarities seem to be separate from each other. Thus the truth is being Source and the illusion is not being Source. This is fragmented experience.
As One Source Consciousness densifies, the negative polarity dominates the positive... or illusion dominates truth. Thus, the separation is illusory duality. Illusion however, is always pretending. It is the pretense that the becoming is different and separate than being. The object is separate & diff. than subject.
This is the Creation Game. As Source, I create an illusion... or a...
...form of myself that I do not recognize... so that I may express recognition and magnify my delight... my bliss in the process. This is the cosmic game of hide and seek and as with all games it is played for the fun of it.
The illusions that challenge us the most are those that we create & identify with until we can see through them & recognize them as the play of One Source Consciousness that we truly are. The more fragmented we are the more challenging the illusions that we create and experience.
We must create holistic awareness based on balance to dissolve illusory identifications and consistently be The One and Only.
[yellow highlight] What is a Master?
It is not that we are fragmented because we are human beings, but rather, we are human beings who have chosen fragmentation. After all, what is a master but someone who has chosen a conscious experience of being human.
[yellow highlight] MASTER : DISCIPLE
As a pure reflector of Sourceful awareness, everything that comes into the Master's sphere of attention is handled at the level of Source itself. Thus, obstacles or limitations to the unfoldment of wholeness and unity consciousness in the disciple's journey are spontaneously dissolved. But, if the disciple is moving unconsciously in a direction that is sure to lead to confusion & misery, an obstacle is created at that juncture to prevent the disciple's distraction. In this way, the disciple is compelled to turn in a different...
...and more conscious direction.
The true test in the Master-disciple relationship is one's acceptance of the principle of "No". It is easy to expand to the Master's embrace of what we have already decided, but to relinquish our attachment at the Master's behest, directly or indirectly, is much more difficult. Thus it can be understood that whether the Master says "yes" or "no", it is always in the best interest of the disciple to fully embrace the directive.
It is associated with the clearing of the cardiac meridian related to the third eye vortex. In the foundational Vedic tradition, it was referred to as appropriate purification. As the dimensions purified physical, mental and emotional become more concordant in balance, harmonic coherence results. With elevation in harmonic coherence, the subtler dimensions actualize. The resultant subtler dimensions is termed the Subtle Dimension and relates to the third eye vortex. It is your experience of a frequency of vibration that is evolving in associated meridians. As your multi-dimensional awareness expands, the release can produce tears. The result will be increased and cleansed consciousness.
Lazy way to enlightenment
What does it take to get a suntan? Nothing whatsoever. It's just a matter of exposing one-self to the sun. It is the nature of the sun to radiate its power of light. We do not need to do anything other than lay on the beach and expose ourselves to the sun.
The Master is the Sun. The meditator endeavors to live more consciously & fully. If you are fortunate enough to find yourself in the presence of a Master, all you need is to stop "doing." This is traditionally understood in terms of Surrender. Surrender means letting go of the need to do anything. We just follow the sun, so to speak and the suntan keeps happening.
The ancient tradition is that when you come into the presence of the Master, you bow down.
Bowing down is just symbolic of "non-doing." Actually in many contexts it was considered quite honourable to totally lay down on the floor and prostrate oneself in the Master's presence. This is the ultimate symbolic demonstration of the principle of surrender. It is saying, "Here I am in your presence, recognizing that I need only lay down (my mind, my doing, my individual authorship, etc...) to experience the full benefit of your energetic presence." But to the other observer, it is misinterpreted as a sign of helplessness and passivity... in fact, it is a courageous and beautiful gesture of self-empowerment.
You create your reality based on the foundation of balance or imbalance you maintain in your mind.
Thought
Remember, when you learn the rules of the game, that you are yourself to thought, & life is the laws within your universe — all you need to do is think on what you want to be and it will be. Once you figure this out, you can design your body, yr life & everything about yourself because you will be self motivated, self experienced & self generated.
What makes a Master different from everyone else? The Masters experience is unified. It is whole. The Masters consciousness is in recognition of itself. The Master is fully conscious. But, the Master is always limited by the level of consciousness of the disciple.
We could also say that the Master is unlimited Source and is simultaneously limited by the disciple in relating to the disciple. What we are really saying is that Source limits itself in its individuated forms of expression.
In other words, Source creates the limitation that the disciple represents and is simultaneously limited by the created limitation. For it is the limitation that defines itself as "I am not" and it is the same limitation that becomes "I am."
The fragmented disciple perceives a fragmented Master. The Master can only be perceived in terms of the disciple's experience.
It is the play of consciousness.
All relative reality is governed by the two polarities of positive and negative. In the Primary Trinity, balance must be achieved within each dimension by emphasizing its positive polarity.
In the physical dimension, the positive polarity is relaxation and the negative is stress. In the emotional dimension, the positive polarity is love & contentment and the negative is fear. In the mental dimension, the positive polarity is focus & stillness and the negative is distraction.
The most effective way to balance the Primary Trinity is through meditation... through the practice of being still in the here and now and observing whatever is happening with wakeful awareness.
The experience of balance in the Primary Trinity is progressively experienced as the three dimensions come into harmonic coherence. The physical body relaxes, the emotional dimension becomes content and the mental dimension becomes focused and still.
The immediate result is an awareness of a unified and holistic state of being. We cease to identify with any one dimension and experience ourselves as all three in simultaneous balance. This is the beginning of multi-dimensional awareness.
*In the process of manifesting experience, Source uses the mind to create thought-forms, which become the blueprints for experience.* The thought-form is seeded into the more subtle dimensions of consciousness and begins to manifest through the Primary Trinity of the dense physical, emotional and mental dimensions.
For a thought-form to fully manifest, it must be consistent, clear and focused. This requires balance in the Primary Trinity.
Sympathy is a word that describes the first aspect of a holistic attitude to others. It means being conscious that another exists. Patience is the willingness to observe without reaction. It implies relaxation. Compassion is the ultimate expression. It implies that there is love... an equal sharing of presence with another.
These three words correspond to the three dimensions of the Primary Trinity... Sympathy (mental), Patience (physical), Compassion (emotional).
Awareness is the recognition of Source by itself. Non-awareness is when Source does not recognize itself. In the densest dimensions of human experience, non-awareness is dominant. It is the nature of ignorance.
Through the practice of meditation, we progressively evolve from non-awareness to awareness. The key is consistent focus in the here and now.
Unity consciousness is the experience of One Source Consciousness recognizing itself as all and everything. There is no separation. Subject and object are experienced as the same consciousness. The observer and the observed are one.
This is not a concept or a belief. It is a direct experience that happens when there is sufficient balance and the resultant harmonic coherence in the Primary Trinity and subtler dimensions.
Mystical transformation is the process by which fragmented human consciousness evolves to unified, whole consciousness. It is the process by which ignorance becomes wisdom. It is the process by which the individual "I am not" becomes the universal "I am."
This transformation happens through the practice of meditation and conscious living. It is a progressive process, but it can also happen suddenly in what is referred to as a quantum leap.
The Guru is the one who dispels darkness. The Guru is Source in human form. The Guru is not separate from the disciple. The Guru and the disciple are one consciousness appearing as two.
The Guru's role is to reflect wholeness to the disciple and thus catalyze the disciple's evolution. The Guru does not do anything to the disciple. The Guru simply IS, and in that being, the disciple is transformed.
The multi-dimensional human experience can be mapped as follows:
Physical body — red Etheric body — orange Astral/emotional body — yellow Mental body — green Causal body — blue Supra-causal body — indigo Source — violet/white
Each dimension has its own frequency of vibration and its corresponding colour. As consciousness evolves through meditation, the subtler bodies are progressively actualized.
The tingling sensations that you experience in meditation are caused by the movement of energy through the meridians of the etheric body. As the energy flows increase with balance, the meridians expand and the tingling intensifies.
This is a very positive sign. It indicates that the energetic dimension of your being is becoming more actualized. The energy flows are the life-force, or prana, that sustains the physical body.
Thought is the creative tool of consciousness. Through thought, consciousness creates its experience. The quality of our thoughts determines the quality of our experience.
If our thoughts are predominantly negative (fear-based), our experience will reflect that negativity. If our thoughts are predominantly positive (love-based), our experience will reflect that positivity.
The key is to become aware of our thoughts and consciously direct them towards the positive. This is the practice of conscious living.
Catharsis is a process of emotional release that can occur during meditation. As the balance deepens, stored emotional energy from the subconscious and unconscious is released. This can manifest as tears, laughter, anger, or any other emotional expression.
It is important to allow catharsis to happen without suppression or identification. Simply observe the process with wakeful awareness and allow the energy to flow and release.
The dual perspective sees everything as separate — subject and object, self and other, good and bad. The non-dual perspective sees everything as One Consciousness appearing as many.
Both perspectives are valid within their own context. The dual perspective is appropriate for navigating the practical aspects of human life. The non-dual perspective is the ultimate truth of reality.
The mature spiritual practitioner holds both perspectives simultaneously — functioning in the world of duality while resting in the awareness of non-duality.
[Continuation of non-dual teachings]
The challenge is to maintain non-dual awareness in the midst of dual experience. This is what is meant by "being in the world but not of it."
"The Guru is not a person. The Guru is a presence. The Guru is the light of awareness that illuminates the darkness of ignorance."
The Guru principle exists within every being. It is the innate intelligence of consciousness that guides evolution. The external Guru simply reflects and catalyzes the awakening of the inner Guru.
"Anything forced into manifestation through personal will is always 'ill got' and has 'ever bad success.'" — Florence Scovel Shinn
For those who have reached the fullness of the life-negative experience, the opposite manifests... everything in its extreme manifests its opposite.
When there is resistance Kundalini is felt.
"Your thoughts are the architects of your destiny."
Every thought is a vibration of consciousness. Consistent, focused thought creates a pattern that begins to manifest as experience. This is why meditation, which focuses and stills the mind, is such a powerful tool for transformation.
Meditation changes the quality of thought by creating balance. In balance, the negative, fear-based thoughts lose their dominance and the positive, love-based thoughts emerge. This shift in the quality of thought is the beginning of conscious creation.
Meditation is the art of being present. It is the practice of consistent focus in the here and now. When the mind is focused, it becomes still. In stillness, balance happens. In balance, awareness expands. In expanded awareness, witness consciousness emerges.
This is the natural progression of meditation. It is not something that needs to be forced or manufactured. It simply needs to be allowed.
The key to meditation is consistency. A daily practice of sitting quietly and focusing the mind, even for a short period, builds the foundation of balance over time.
It does not matter what technique is used — breath awareness, mantra, music, or simply the observation of what is happening in the moment. What matters is the consistent, daily practice.
Concepts are the building blocks of the mind. They are the mental constructs through which we interpret and understand our experience. Concepts are useful tools, but they are not reality itself.
The challenge for the spiritual aspirant is to move beyond concepts to direct experience. Meditation facilitates this by stilling the mind and allowing consciousness to experience itself directly, beyond the filter of conceptual interpretation.
As meditation deepens, stored emotional data begins to surface from the subconscious and unconscious. This is the natural cleansing process. Emotions that were suppressed or unexpressed begin to emerge into conscious awareness.
The appropriate response is to simply observe the emotions without identification or reaction. Allow them to surface, express, and release. This is the process of emotional cleansing.
"Meditation is not about having a particular experience. It is about being fully present to whatever experience is happening."
This simple understanding dissolves the frustration that many meditators experience. There is no right or wrong experience in meditation. Whatever is happening is exactly what should be happening.
Fear and love are the two fundamental emotions from which all other emotions arise. Fear is the emotion of the negative polarity ("I am not"). Love is the emotion of the positive polarity ("I am").
All negative emotions — anger, jealousy, resentment, anxiety — are expressions of fear. All positive emotions — joy, gratitude, compassion, peace — are expressions of love.
The practice of conscious living is the progressive shift from fear-based to love-based experience.
[yellow highlight] DENSE PRIMARY TRINITY
The dense primary trinity — the physical, emotional and mental dimensions — is the foundation upon which all subtler dimensions are built. Without balance in these three dimensions, the subtler dimensions cannot be actualized.

The Creation Game is the play of One Source Consciousness appearing as the many. It is the dance of unity in diversity. Source creates the illusion of separation in order to experience the delight of recognition.
Every experience is Source experiencing itself. The joy, the sorrow, the love, the fear — all of it is Source playing the game of creation.
[Blank or minimal content]
Temples, churches, and sacred spaces are external reflections of the inner temple of consciousness. They serve as reminders that the true place of worship is within.
The human body itself is the most sacred temple. Within it resides the Source of all creation. Meditation is the practice of entering this inner temple and experiencing the presence of Source.
[Blank or minimal content]
The relationship between Guru and disciple is the most sacred of all relationships. It is the relationship between Source and its individuated expression. The Guru represents the awakened state, and the disciple represents the state that is awakening.
The Guru does not create the awakening. The Guru simply removes the obstacles to awakening. The awakening itself is the natural state of consciousness.
energetic Sourcefield of the Master that underlies the relationship. Thus, the common short comings of ordinary relationships are not found in the Master-disciple relationship.
The breath is the bridge between the physical and subtler dimensions. Through conscious breathing, we can influence the flow of energy in the meridians and create greater balance.
Simple breath awareness is one of the most powerful meditation techniques. By simply observing the breath without trying to change it, the mind becomes focused and still, and balance naturally follows.
[Brief notation]
Kriya in Sanskrit means movement. In a more contemporary understanding, it is meridian spasm. It indicates that the meridians are not able to dilate enough to handle an increased flow of Sourceful energy. Thus, a spasm is created in the meridian as it stretches to accommodate the flow, and is experienced as shaking, twitching and jerking.
The old schools acknowledged this process and placed great emphasis on the integrative or purificatory aspect of the meditator's journey. In the Ashtanga Yoga tradition, one had to endure purificatory techniques before they were allowed to sit for formal meditation.
"Conscience is a thought not a behaviour. It is an inner expression of self-respect and integrity. The grounds governing are simple: guidelines are unworthy of you." — Hugh Prather
"The teacher cannot teach Atman; the disciple cannot learn it." — Avadhut Gita
Avadhut Gita is the song of pure Sourceful awareness. This simply addresses "Atman" or pure awareness, which can neither be taught nor learnt. Why? Because pure awareness is an existential reality which can only be experienced. It is beyond the mind and lies outside the realm of words, concepts and description. It is in this recognition that many Masters say, "there is nothing to learn & I have nothing to teach."
This quotation does not mean, however, that a Master cannot assist others in opening to the experience of Sourceful awareness. It simply says that such opening does not happen through teaching. Rather it happens through direct transmission which is an...
...energetic experience wherein those in proximity to a Master, through resonance, begin to vibrate at a similar frequency. This is the principle of entrainment. Just as a tuning fork will cause another tuning fork of the same frequency to vibrate, so too the Master's Sourceful vibration causes the disciple's consciousness to resonate at the same frequency.
Creation is the play of consciousness. Source creates from itself, through itself, as itself. There is nothing that exists that is not Source. The entire manifest universe is Source in the process of experiencing itself.
[Continuation of Creation]
The process of creation moves from subtle to dense. The first impulse of creation is at the subtlest level of consciousness. From there, it progressively densifies through the causal, mental, emotional, and finally physical dimensions.
Gratitude is one of the most powerful affirmations of the positive polarity. When we are grateful, we are affirming "I am" — I am blessed, I am abundant, I am loved. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have. It is a powerful balancing force.
Practice gratitude daily. Begin each morning by acknowledging the blessings in your life. This simple practice will transform your experience.
Gratitude makes things right.
Creative Gratitude turns negative energy into positive energy. There is no situation or circumstance so small or large that it is not susceptible to gratitude's power. We can start with who we are and what we have today, apply gratitude, then let it work its magic.
There are many dimensions levels to the mind dimension and all are experienced in meditation as one moves from gross to subtle mentation and ultimately to stillness and transcendence. Firstly, there is automatic thinking — a constant re-gurgitation of negative, dualistic data from the dominant life-negative history stored in the unconscious data bank.
Then there is directed thinking — usually emphasizing the positive, non-dualistic patterns of thought, which creates the balance through which awareness expands as witness consciousness emerges.
Then there is impressionistic thought — patterns of background thought rendered as subtle images, revealing an oscillation of polarity from negative to positive
observed by a more dominant witness consciousness or Sourceful awareness.
Then there is stillness, which is the subtlest level of the mind. Stillness is the positive polarity. Activity is the negative polarity. Stillness within the mind — as being — most precisely balances the dominant negative polarity of manifestation... or becoming.
"Only he can command who obeys." — M C
"Command" refers to mastery in the field of awareness, which is delineated in the ancient traditions of enlightening wisdom as energetically located in the brow or "ajna" chakra, also called the command centre — the energetic vortex between & just above the eyes. The full flowering of this centre results in the mastery of expanded, multi-dimensional states of awareness.
So the quote is really saying that only with surrender is there the opportunity to open to mastery. Such truthful mastery requires assistance from one in whom that awareness is already established. And such assistance can only become available when there is a clear channel
Surrender is not passive. It is the most active thing one can do. It requires tremendous courage and awareness to let go of the ego's need to control.
of receptivity in the disciple.
Therefore, surrender is not for the benefit for the Master, who is self-sufficient in the constancy of awareness. Rather, it is for the sake of the disciple who looks to the Master as a Sourceful reflection of his highest potential. With true surrender, the potential is realized as the awakening of our own mastery.
Regarding — that — spontaneously surfaces during yr. meditation's consider it this way... it is not a past life surfacing. It is the subtler dimensions of your mind expressing the symbols stored in the unconscious data bank. As emphasis is given to the positive polarity either through affirmations or stillness in meditation, balance is created and awareness proportionally expands to witness consciousness. Yet, as the positive data reaches the unconsciousness it balances the dominant negative data that is stored therein. Then the negative data or history that is incongruent with this balance is released into the conscious mind & ultimately dis-created. It is this release that is expressed in your experience. It is appropriate just remain a witness & enjoy the process. Over time,
it will clear itself and disappear, so enjoy it while it is happening.
In the progression for a meditator, balance begins at the physical level dimension and proceeds to the emotional and the mental and beyond. This is easy to understand. You sit to meditate, you begin where you are. In your experience, in the field of relativity, your dominant focus is within the physical dimension: first your physical body, then the next subtle dimension to it, your emotional body and the next subtle dimension to it, your mental body. Beyond these are subtler dimensions: The subtle body, The causal body, The supra-causal body; but they are very subtle forms, they are not as dense, as contracted, as compacted an energy into matter as is the physical, emotional and mental dimension of human experience. So when you sit to
[Continuation of teachings on balance and conscious living]
Conscious living is the practice of maintaining awareness in every moment of daily life. It is not limited to formal meditation practice. Every activity — eating, walking, working, relating — can be a meditation when performed with awareness.
The key is to be fully present to whatever is happening. This transforms ordinary experience into extraordinary experience.
"Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear." — Mark Twain
"Everything is energy in motion." — Pir Vilayat
First there is the Void which is exactly what the word implies — void. Then comes the field of relativity and all experience. This includes dance of polar opposites. There is the positive and the negative... awareness and non-awareness... consciousness and in-consciousness... energy and non-energy... matter and anti-matter. All experience in the field of relativity is governed by the oscillation of polarity. Thus there is vibration or motion. So, it could be said that everything is energy in motion. Pir Vilayat is a wise sage. Notice the oscillation in your vibration meditation. You are a vibrating form. You are constantly in motion. Such is the nature of Source within the field of relativity.
"I am never not with you. You are simply not always aware." — Neal Donald Walsch, C.W.G.
(Last day of Meditation at Misty... will be next few weeks) 93.5.02
The flashes of light are experienced when the subtle dimensions become dominant in one's focus. In these dimensions, the oscillation of polarity within the field of relativity is so accelerated that awareness appears as a continuity. This because the mind cannot cognize these subtle dimension polar oscillations. The frequency of vibration corresponds to the speed of light and when the mind is momentarily activated it cognizes the experience of light. Again, you are perceiving from multi-dimensional awareness which includes all dimensions simultaneously. It demonstrates constancy in witness consciousness.
"Your thoughts are pure vibration. They can and do create your experience." — Neal Donald Walsch, C.W.G.
Analogy — as to what is happening in yr. meditative experience. You are about to take a warm bath. As you slip into the tub, you immediately notice the sensations of warmth all over yr. body. The water draws you in, so to speak, & you feel very relaxed. Now after yr. body has adjusted to its new environment, the sensation of warmth is not the same — even though the water is the same warm. The experience has changed. It is no longer noticeable. At this point, you might feel you are complete & ready to move on to something else.
The point is that subjective experience is often a function of contrast. Initially, the new experience grabs yr. attention, but in time, it becomes "normal." That is why the wise sages have always emphasized that true meditation is simply the awareness of the...
[Page 74] ...ordinary. "Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water; after enlightenment, chop wood and carry water" is an age-old aphorism which points in this direction.
It is not about getting and having — it is about being... with whatever is happening... whether silence or chaos... whether light or darkness... whether peaceful or restless... whether deep or shallow. And meditation is about flowing with change.
Your meditation may be completely different than someone else's. And, yet each is absolutely appropriate — if you simply allow it to be so, without comparing or judging. It's easy if you don't try.
Meditation is just the observation of what is happening in each moment. There is nothing to "achieve", nothing to "get". It is enough to simply experience the experience you are having and remain aware. In this way, expanded states of awareness (SOURCE) spontaneously happen. Where seeking ends, true meditation begins.
I sought Thee in timeless halls of space I sought Thee in spaceless halls of Time. But I found that time and space do not exist. I wondered "Who am I"? and 'Who art Thou?' And then I found Thee. Thou in me and I in Thee. For I am nothing, yet am everything. For evermore... and so we cannot die. — Robert Godui
The negative is the contractive polarity that enables energy to become matter. There would be no human experience possible without its dominance in universal manifestation. In conscious living, since the negative is always dominant, we must be vigilant to consistently emphasize the positive polarity in order to build and maintain the relative balance through which there is witness consciousness. This is directed thinking and feeling. Whenever we notice the mind automatically thinking its dominant negative data, we consciously direct our thinking into the positive through the use of affirmations. Also we direct emotions & feelings the same way... we flow positive energy. You must go slow enough to ensure that...
[Page 78] ...you are experiencing what you are affirming. Simultaneously, you must flow the feeling/emotion of what you are affirming in thought... you must feel yourself as Source. In this way, the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions will come into balance and subtler dimensional "witness consciousness" will appear.
If your mind is not silent, you are imbalanced to the negative & therefore must emphasize the positive to build the balance. Use those affirmations and relinquish the unconscious indulgence of the negative imbalance.
The force against the third eye area and the shooting pains in the eyes and forehead are caused by restrictions in the related meridians. Focus to this area will dilate those meridians and the energy flows will be unrestricted. The meridian sensations will progressively relax. Appearance of blue light and a blue point happen when these meridians are balanced and the third eye vortex more fully expresses the energy.
The experience of inner luminosity in meditation is also indicative of greater third eye activation. — M.C.

Focus, in meditative understanding, refers to the mind and its thought content and activity. If you focus the mind, it becomes still and in stillness there is balance between the polarities of positive and negative data. Then, through the balance, awareness proportionally expands. Meditation begins with focus... a focusing of the mind into the here and now... the present moment... a focusing of the mind on stillness. Then witness consciousness or wakefulness happens... The detached observation of all experience.
[Page not present in PDF scan — appears to be blank or was skipped during scanning]
Most people have difficulty focusing the mind. It refuses to be still. Rather, it automatically wanders in repetitious thinking. For such people, it is recommended that they direct their thinking as a focusing technique to develop a balance between the positive and negative data. This is the use of mantra or affirmation. When positive, truthful data balances the inherent negative, fraudulent data... the mind becomes still and witness consciousness happens through balance.
If you are able to still your mind with focus and immediately get to witness consciousness, you are probably an advanced meditator and more power to you.

Awakened within a dream, I fall into my own arms. What kept you so long? — Lou Hartman
Life lived unconsciously is a dream. It is devoid of Source awareness. It is illusion... powerful illusion. When we become conscious of our Sourceful nature it is like awakening from a dream. Within such Sourceful awareness, we wonder why we slept so long.
"By bringing meditation into your life, you are looking for something beyond yr. beliefs and conditioning."
Sit in meditation without back support and notice that the energy flows more freely and that there is a back and forth swaying motion. The energy flows more because the two nervous systems of the physical body are no longer blocked by the back support. The swaying motion is the spiral motion of the kundalini energy. Focus upon this movement... it will lead you to greater transcendence.
"Being human is the experience that I am having... here and now. I am Source experiencing being human. It is a uniquely creative experience. With awareness, I celebrate this truth. I am blissful & peaceful!" — M.C.
"We are all living in a field of relativity with 2 polarities. One is the experience of "I am" (positive); the other is "I am not" (negative). From these two arise two basic emotions "love" and "fear." For lifetimes we have repeated & demonstrated "I am not" fear based experience & identified with it through our conditioning. We have become very good at the "I am not." Yet, ultimately we move in the direction of the "I am", love-based experience, when we become tired of the life negative polarity we are ready to move towards the affirmative. Yet we are on the bridge, still in the habit of the "I am not," but pulled more & more towards the "I am." In order to make the transition we have to become firm in our commitment & start affirming the "I am" experience..."

How can I tell if I am meditating correctly?
One must understand what meditation is in the first place. Simply stated, meditation happens whenever there is consistent focus over time. What does this mean?
When the mind is unfocused or undirected, it is in a state of imbalance, which is characterized by a fragmented experience of life. The brain hemispheres are operating in an uncoordinated way & events & experiences overshadow awareness. At such times, we find ourselves stressed, fearful, bored or otherwise distracted.
As soon as we direct the mind, there is a fundamental shift. With focus, the brain hemispheres begin to synchronize, & the fragmentation...
[Page 92] "Here & now... in this moment... I am responsible for my creation. I choose to be as I truly am... I am Source." — M.C.
[Page 93] ...we previously experienced gives way to expanded awareness. A palpable sense of calm wakefulness arises as we continue to focus. This is meditation as it unfolds. Thus, we can evaluate the degree of meditative "success" or "correctness" in direct proportion to the degree of focus & wakefulness we bring to each moment.
It is not imp. to have any special experiences or "states," but rather just to remain the watchful witness of whatever happening. Whenever that watchfulness is overshadowed by the impact of undirected thinking, all that is necessary to remember is to return to the focus once again. Whether it is music, the ocean waves, yr. breath, or the simple recognition of yr. presence in any moment you notice... awareness is the simple key to success in meditation.
Here and now... in this moment... I am blissful... I am peaceful... I am full of love. — M.C.
"If you want to jump, if you want to jump the line and you do not want to go through the struggle of being aware, then one must be very innocent that they can simply surrender themselves. Surrendering is not something that you do. Surrendering is something that happens when you are not. When you lose all will, when you have no will of your own, when you have become absolutely willing that there is nothing in you that you call as yourself, then also grace descends upon you." — Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev
"I have learnt silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; I am grateful to these teachers." — Kalas (540-610)
The sound that you experience in your meditation is what is referred to as the primordial sound of Om. Rather than a gross physical sound that can be created with the human voice, it is but the vibration of the oscillation of polarity within the field of relativity as the most subtle level of phenomenal reality. It is a much subtler level than the mind and that is why the mind is still when the vibration is experienced. This level of awareness is congruent with yr. experience of Sahaja Samadhi. You are experiencing profound levels of enlightening experience.

"Focus decelerates brain-waves and increases hemispheric synchrony. The databanks of the subconscious & unconscious are thus easily accessed. Whatever meaning you are considering while focused is programmed into these data banks. Whatever is consistently programmed becomes dominant — this is called rescripting."
"Source creates... The mind reacts. The witness watches and delivers bliss." — M.C.
The Master is the greatest benefactor and ally of the disciple. Wisely & compassionately the Master assists in many ways, both seen and unseen. This is not to say that the Master needs to be aware of all the details in every situation. Sourceful awareness is like a cosmic computer — it can take into account all the complexities without the need to address them one by one.
As a pure reflector of Sourceful awareness, everything that comes into the master's sphere of attention is handled at the level of Source itself. Thus, obstacles and limitations to the unfoldment of wholeness and unity consciousness in the disciple's journey are spontaneously dissolved. But, if the disciple is moving unconsciously, in a direction that is sure to lead...
[Page 102] ...to confusion and misery, an obstacle is created at that juncture to prevent the disciple's distraction. In this way the disciple is ~~condemned~~ compelled to turn in a different and more conscious direction.
Whether the Master says "yes" or "No", it is in the best interests of the disciple to fully embrace the directive.
Your world is your creation.
Most of us believe that we are separate individuals experiencing the same (or similar) objective reality. In this understanding, we seek consensus with others about the nature of reality we all share — and we call this reality our world. When we experience dysfunction or challenge, we attribute this to some quality or aspect of the world. For e.g. if we get a ticket (parking) we commonly blame the person or institution from which it came. If we become ill, we often trace the cause to someone else from where we "caught" it.
In this paradigm, the world is seen as an external collection of forces & circumstances acting upon us in various ways. In response, we...
[Page 104] ...seek to control what we experience as separate from ourselves. When things go as we wish, we consider ourselves "lucky" or deserving. When we are challenged or under duress, we feel we are unlucky or unworthy.
But, in more truthful understanding we find that things may not be as they appear on the surface. It has been suggested by many individuals from a more "awareness-based" perspective, that the world is as we are, and our reality is simply a reflection of what we believe it to be. This is quite a revelation for most of us, because it means that we actually create our world, rather than our world creating us. This places us in a position of great potential power (and...
[Page 105] ...responsibility), but it is up to us whether or not to make use of it. Once we understand that our world is our own creation, we are free to create it differently (or not) as we see fit.
As the person evolves & goes beyond the narrow concerns of the self to focus on the happiness of others, the Kundalini will rise to give him a different kind of energy. — Justice M.L. Dudhat
What is enthusiasm? Enthusiasm means to be connected to God within. When you are with your Source, you can only be enthusiastic. Apathy is when you are away from the source of life. You cannot be but enthusiastic when your mind is totally in the present moment.
You should know that dispassion is not apathy. It is simply a broader perspective of a reality. Dispassion is moving towards the Source. Dispassion simply means the way back home. It is the journey towards the source, which is reservoir of enthusiasm.
When dispassion & enthusiasm co-exist, that is the secret of perennial enthusiasm & profound dispassion. Though they appear to be opposite, they are...
[Page 108] ...actually complimentary.
Consciousness forfeits awareness as it densifies. It obscures itself from itself. Thus, the denser dimensions are more challenging to balance. Therefore, throughout the history of human experience, this has been taken into consideration in the quest for wholeness. The ancient systems of philosophy and mysticism acknowledged this fact and designed their practices upon it. For example in our ashrams one had to focus upon the primary three or dense dimensions of the physical, emotional and mental for seven years before being initiated into meditation.
Each of these three primary dimensions was a practice unto itself. They were termed as follows: Karma Yoga (Physical dimension)
[Page 110] Bhakti Yoga (Emotional Dimension) and Jnana Yoga (Mental Dimension).
It was determined that one could, with constant focus, balance these three dimensions over a seven year period and bring them to harmonic coherence. Then followed initiation into meditation which focused upon the more subtle dimensions of the Subtle, Causal and Supra Causal. When both the dense and subtle dimensions were harmonically coherent and witness consciousness was constant as a demonstrated experience, one was acknowledged as enlightened or whole.
"The willow which bends to the tempest, often escapes better than the oak which resists it; and so in great calamities, it sometimes happens that light & frivolous spirits recover their elasticity and presence of mind sooner than those of a loftier character." — Walter Scot (1771-1832)
Commentary —
Conservative or liberal — fear-based or love-based... that is the question.
The fear-based conservative data is rigid and fixed. It arises out of the dominant negative polarity. It is contractive and limiting.
The love-based liberal data is flowing and pliable. It arises out of the non-dominant...

"The world is ruled by letting things take their course." — Lao Tzu
There is sometimes confusion that the mind must be completely still or devoid of thoughts during meditation. This can lead to frustration as the meditator struggles to empty the mind and be totally tranquil. The mind is supposed to think and is part of the multi-dimensional experience of being human. An alternative perspective to denying the mind is to embrace it as part of your meditative experience.
Rather than identifying with the thinking, become the detached witness to your experience and allow the thoughts to be appropriate. Witness consciousness is the detached observation of whatever is happening in the moment. If thinking is happening, allow it to be so.
[Page 114] An analogy often used in this relation to thinking during meditation is that of clouds floating by in the sky. The clouds, representing thoughts, come and go, but the sky always remains clear and blue behind the clouds. Identify with the blue sky rather than the clouds.
By bringing awareness to the mind and allowing the thoughts to be as they are, the mind will become more balanced. With balance it will be easier to witness the thinking as just one dimension of a multi-dimensional state of being. Eventually the thoughts will become an entertainment rather than something to be avoided in meditation.
Inner awakening can only occur when there is complete stillness in the body mind & soul.
When the kundalini returns, the yogi once again resumes life in the mundane world, but with an altered and elevated state of consciousness. Nothing changes externally, the transformation takes place internally.
*In the act of creation
There is an imp. relationship bet sound & prana underlying creation.* Before anything can manifest, there must be cosmic sound, mind, mahat. From mahat the first manifestation is bindu, which represents time, space and matter within a single point. It is the seed of creation. The life force emanates from bindu. So there are two concepts: one is cosmic mind, the other is cosmic prana.
According to Vedanta, universal mind is symbolized by hiranyagarbha, the golden womb or cosmic egg. At one pole of the universal mind is time, at other pole is space, and matter is at the centre. During creation, time & space come close to each other. The instant they meet at bindu there is an explosion within matter and creation happens/begins. Therefore, the universe is created by the convergence of the two poles of energy of universal mind, and is a product of an explosion at the nucleus of universal mind.
The ultimate source of all creation is contained within the bindu. When explosion of time & space occurs within bindu the first emanation is nada, transcendental sound.

It is important to keep in mind that true meditation is a clearing process. As we access the subtle states of awareness through meditation, the clearing of "data" will occur from the subconscious and unconscious areas of the mind. This clearing may present itself in many forms, whether through physical, emotional or mental dimensions.
A common experience for meditators is the emergence of so-called negative emotions in meditation. Emotions such as anger, grief, sadness, or loneliness may arise in conscious experience. As the clearing takes place, what can we do with these thoughts and feelings?
Firstly, we need to acknowledge...
[Page 118] ...that all experience is valid and so too, is the experience we are having in each moment. Allow and be open to the experience rather than resisting it. What you resist persists, but what you allow, begins to flow and thus, clearing happens. Simply observing the emotions as they arise in the moment is the most powerful tool we have to bring balance to any emotional state.
Emotions such as anger are powerful energies, and if suppressed, will find fragmented and stressful ways to release. As you experience the emotions, avoid the temptation to project them onto another person or thing. Rather, move to the source of the feeling within yourself and allow the emotional energy to express itself in a...
[Page 119] [Note at top in red ink box: "Stopped going for meditation 17.12.02"]
...balanced way.
If observing the emotions is still not enough to deliver stillness in your meditation, you may wish to use the "affirmation process." Use the power of your emotions to strengthen your affirmations and create balance. Statements such as "I am love," "I am the power," and "I am the source of my thoughts and emotions," can transform the negative emotion into a positive force for creativity and change.
Physical exercise will also greatly assist in the movement and clearing of the emotional energy. Walking, running, dancing or any form of aerobic exercise will support the restoration of balance.

Recycling negative emotions over & over such as worry, anger & resentment, creates emotional memory pathways through the subconscious mind. With long term re-inforcement, they can influence our perceptions and cloud our day to day thoughts & feelings.
The habitual maintenance of attitudes begins to "hard wire" the experience into the brain. Who we perceive ourselves to be can simply be a collection of these mental & emotional attitudes which become our personality traits.
A way to short-circuit the negative neurological pathways is to simply stop using the path. It may not be easy at first, because it is what is known & is comfortable & familiar. The mind becomes identified with the pathways. We develop mechanisms to keep the habits in place.
[Page 122] Sometimes, there is a subtle awareness that certain attitudes and habits are not good for us & that the mind is out of alignment with what the heart truly wants & needs. There is a desire for wholeness but the mind wants to hang on to fragmentation & separation. A person may even be very clear there is fragmentation, but not know how to even begin the clearing of it. What the mind needs to be able to break free of its separative habits is "power." But, this power does not come from the intellect. It requires balance on all dimensions including a coherent heart.
There may be times during your meditative practice when you get a sense of "progress" or a feeling that everything is right on track. These perceptions maybe accompanied by various experiences that are commonly related to meditation, such as energetic flows, perception of light & colours, intoxication, or perhaps just a deep sense of peace & stillness.
At other times, however, those may become less frequent or totally absent, & you are left with more mundane experiences such as mind chatter, old uncomfortable feelings & restlessness.
Meditation is a process of creating balance and moving into greater states of integrative wholeness. An inevitable part of the process is the clearing of limiting life-negative data & conditioning with which we have become identified. When...
[Page 124] ...clearing is taking place, we are often in a state of upheaval in one or more of our primary trinity dimensions of mind, emotions and body.
In times of clearing, it is most important to understand that meditation is not about having any particular experience, but rather, it is about being fully present to the experience you are having, whatever it may be. In times of peace, bliss & stillness, simply watch the experience. When there is discomfort and unease, likewise, be the detached observer, & watch what is arising in the moment.
Rather than thinking that something inappropriate is happening in your meditation, acknowledge that the clearing process is actually an indication that precise meditation...
[Page 125] ...is taking place. Affirm that your experience is absolutely perfect and you are right on track.
"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten." — Jessie Potter
The Synchronicity Holistic Model of Reality establishes that there is a common ground of being in all manifestation... one conscious energy which densifies into an infinite number of forms. It is invaluable to understand this when communicating with people.
Human beings wonderfully demonstrate the diversity in creation. Every person you meet is somehow different & unique. However, at the deepest level, everyone has common needs... to be understood, acknowledged, loved and fulfilled.
On the surface it is easy to get lost in the seeming separation. So often in our communications, we defend what we think is true & correct. We take a polarized approach & believe there must be a right & a wrong... a winner & a loser. Rather than looking at situations in a divided way, there is an alternative in which we can see...
[Page 128] ...people as simply having unique perceptions of the same reality.
A good place to begin understanding a person and seeing the essence of who they truly are is by "listening" to them. This involves taking the time to understand the person you are communicating with. Ask yourself... where is this person coming from?... what is their motivation?... what do they hold as their values?... what is their "model" of reality? For example, perhaps the person doesn't have a holistic model of reality and instead, sees things as very separate and fragmented. Thus, they may be coming from a more fear-based and protective viewpoint.
Establish the "common ground" between yourself and the other person by being an emphatic listener and tuning into the situation. Create an environment of...
[Page 129] ...trust in which everyone can relax by demonstrating acceptance and understanding. Once trust has been established, the layers of separation can be peeled away and a deeper level of communication can be reached. The "right and wrong" can be replaced with appreciation and mutual agreement. There can even be an agreement to disagree.
To use the past without being controlled by it — that is our responsibility to history. Because the past is irrecoverably vanished, its sometimes tempting to forget it or to falsify it. But being true to ourselves means being true to our history.
Past cruelties can remain powerful in our lives — yet to take possession of our history means to free ourselves of bondage to past events. Nothing can ever change them. If we are to ever make the future good, we'll learn what the past can teach us. But our freedom requires us to make choices based on the needs of the present, not the past.
I can act at every moment in such a way as to honor the past and enhance the future.
"One forgives to the degree that one loves." — La Rochefoucauld
We all get hurt by other people sometimes. When this happens, we have choices. We can get angry & stay that way. We can act like it didn't hurt and try to forget it. We can act like a sad sack and hold a grudge.
We first have to think about how someone hurt us. It often helps to talk to the person, to tell the person, he or she hurt us. We then tell the person what we would like from him or her to help us set our relationship straight. Then we let go.
This is what forgiveness is (1) loving ourselves enough to stand up for ourselves (2) loving others enough to point out their behaviour and (3) letting go.

The Master is a presence, the Master is not a doer. The real Master never does a thing but the presence functions as a catalytic agent. Much happens through his non-doing. That is the paradox of the existence of a Master; without doing much happens. So the whole thing really depends on the disciple; if he is receptive, things start happening; if he is not receptive nothing happens. When nothing happens he throws responsibility on the Master. The Master cannot do anything against you. In fact he cannot do anything because it is not a question of doing at all; it is simply a question of receiving it, of taking it in. That is the meaning of satsang — to be in the presence of a Master, in a loving communion. In the West, at the most, the teacher & the student exist. The teacher...
[Page 134] ...and the teacher communicate; the communication is verbal. It is a dialogue, it is transmitting some information. The teacher knows & the student does not know; he collects information, he becomes more knowledgeable. It is a transfer of knowledge.
Between a Master & a disciple the question is not of knowledge but of being. Not that the Master knows more than the disciple — sometimes it happens that the disciple may know more, but knowledge is not the question at all. The Master is more than the disciple, not that he knows more. He has more being, he has more soul. It is not a question of his memory, that he has more information cells, no. It is a question of his existence, he has a totally different kind of existence — integrated, centered, rooted. The teacher has knowledge, the Master knows.
[Page 135] Knowledge means about and about. The Master has perception, his own experience. He does not know about God — he knows God, he is God! When you know about, you remain different from the knowledge, separate from the knowledge. When you know God then the knower and the known become one.
The Master is divine.

What happens to us is not as important as how we respond.
The external events of our life are generally beyond our control. We do not choose our parents, our emotional environment, the historical period in which we live, our body type, or the flow of circumstances that shape our experience. These are given. We do not select them, but we can choose how we will react to them, and in that choice lies our freedom and our responsibility.
Instead of complaining about the hand we have been dealt, we can concentrate on playing it well. This is the way we exercise our freedom. What might appear to be random chance can take on meaning and purpose as we delve for insight and use our deficiencies as opportunities for growth.
Our responsibility is to do the best we can with what we have where we are.
[Page 138] And we don't do it alone. We have help in learning how best to respond. We have a support group, we have a Higher Power, and we have an inner guide if we listen for direction.
Today, I will remember that the what of my life is not as important as the how.
One has to feel the chakras and not know about them.
Every man I meet is in some way superior to me. — R.W. Emerson
When there is a block, & Kundalini is blocked, then the nearby chakra begins to move. The chakra begins to move so fast, & because of the movement a particular energy is created which breaks the blocks. It is involuntary. Blood is circulation of your physical body. Kundalini is the circulation of the etheric body.
Biologically it is better for the feet to be warmer than the head, but spiritually it is healthier for the feet to be cooler because this is a sign that the energy is moving upwards.
A living Guru is needed & not a book knowledge. A book is always generalized. Only a living person can be aware of your needs of things that are going to happen.

For most human beings, what we know comes to us through the mind and senses via our thinking and perception. Thus, the mind is the basis of our knowledge of the world and ourselves. Naturally then, the mind becomes paramount to our experience of life. But the mind is limited in its ability to encompass the full range of human experience as it is one of the dense dimensions of the Primary Trinity along with the emotions and body. Thus, the mind can cognize reality only within the dense dimensions of human experience. What is beyond it remains unknown until we are able to transcend the mind and experience the subtler dimensions. But, if we move beyond the mind, what then becomes the basis of our experience of reality? How do we experience a reality that is beyond the mind?
Beyond the mind, it is possible...
[Page 144] ...to cognize reality directly on the basis of Consciousness itself. At first, this is experienced as detached observation in which we are the silent witness in relation to the denser dimensions of our experience. If we are able to watch the mind from a detached perspective, we are beyond it. Further evolution takes us to unified states of Consciousness in which we experience both the subject and object as the same Consciousness. This is also understood as Consciousness in recognition of itself.
Still, the mind is operative at its level, but it is no longer the primary basis of our experience of reality. Thus, we cease to identify with the mind, and instead, experience ourselves as Consciousness itself. This is what it means to be fully human and within the Synchronicity Holistic Model of Reality, to actualize this...
[Page 145] ...state requires a holistic life style with meditation as the primary means.
To move beyond the mind means experience beyond thinking. The implications of such are infinite. This is the possibility that exists in every moment. Are you ready to embrace what is beyond the mind? Consider this for the next week.
For periods of time, your meditations may be powerful & deep, & then, seemingly for no apparent reason, another cycle begins that delivers restlessness, mind chatter and negative emotions. Wholeness has given way to fragmentation. At such times you may ask yourself what is happening.
As a meditator it is important to be aware of the process that unfolds as you set to meditate. The mechanics of balance, as they apply to a meditator, are well documented and encompass a three-fold cycle that includes what is known as peak, clearing and integration.
The practice of meditation builds a foundation of balance. You add momentum to this balanced foundation each time you sit...
[Page 147] ...to meditate. Progressively, balance builds power and a transformational process begins. You bring yourself to the peak of your holistic experience and become more than you have ever been. Your meditative practice has pushed the boundaries of your experience and moved you into new territory. This is the peak experience.
Following this peak, a clearing process occurs that includes everything that is incongruent with this more truthful and holistic state of being. The box you were once in has now expanded somewhat, and thus, a re-shaping & shifting needs to occur in order to accommodate it. Fragmentation must be jettisoned to make way for wholeness. This clearing can take a number of forms and is the process that is the basis of the restlessness or upheaval you experience in your meditations. P.T.O.
[Page 148] The cycle then moves into the next phase, which is integration. This is where you become familiar with your new state of being. The new you has now become a more comfortable "fit," so to speak. The dust has settled and you are ready to repeat the transformational cycle once again.
Remind yourself that this cycle is extremely important because it signals that your meditation is working. It provides the feedback that you are evolving and are at the cutting edge of your holistic experience. So, welcome it and embrace the clearing and integration phases of the meditative cycle as appropriate. It's exactly what should be happening.
An exciting thing about Consciousness is that it is always new and fresh. In every moment, the unity of Consciousness expresses itself in the diversity of its creation. The primordial intention in Consciousness is to fully be itself, feeling itself / experiencing itself through its relative reflections. It is forever evolving & seeing itself.
Everything in relative reality is in relation to its opposite... Being is in relation to Becoming... truth is in relation to illusion... negative is in relation to positive, and so on. This has been described as the "Creation Game" or "Play of Consciousness" to signify the creative and dynamic force which animates all and everything. Inherent in this "play" is delight, bliss and joy as Consciousness progressively experiences & discovers itself anew in each moment.
The image of Consciousness dancing & delighting in itself can feel very removed from everyday experience of life. An average day can appear very mundane at times, as you get up in the morning, eat breakfast...
[Page 150] ...travel off to work, meet the same people and repeat the same routine, day-in and day-out.
A powerful exercise is to remind yourself that you are part of this grand play of creation. You are the creator & the creation having these experiences to evolve your wholeness & experience more of who you are. Affirm each day... "I am the play of One Consciousness." ... "I am the One and Only having this human experience."
Remember, the fragmented person sees life as mundane and ordinary but the balanced person experiences life as exciting and extraordinary.
Don't waste time arguing for your limitations: poor relationships, problems, illnesses, poverty, and so on. The more you talk about the problem, the more you anchor it in place. Don't blame others for what is seemingly wrong in your life — that's just another waste of time. Remember you are under the laws of your own consciousness, your own thoughts, and you attract specific experiences to you as the result of the way you think.
In the background there is awareness. In the foreground is the voice, the thinker. The moment you are aware of the ego in you, you become free of the unobserved mind. Awareness & ego cannot co-exist. The old mind pattern or habit may still survive or re-occur for a while — but once recognized it weakens.
"Enlightenment is much like when u have a dream at night & are identified with some character & think u r different from all the others. When u wake up from your dream in the morning, u realize u r not the character in your dream. U r the dreamer. Everything in the dream came from you...
When u wake up spiritually you realize that u r not the body-mind. But what is usually missed is that you are the ultimate Source of the entire dream." — Emptiness Dancing, Adyashanti P 206

Our thoughts are so powerful that they create the circumstances of our lives. The way we think abt ourselves, about others, & abt life contributes enormously to the way we live. What we give out comes back to us always, i.e., if we want to live lives of harmony & well-being, then we must have harmonious, loving thoughts constantly in our mental atmosphere. We will never be able to heal the planet if we criticize & condemn other people, places & events. We must concentrate our mental energy on seeing the positive whenever reality shows us otherwise. — Louise L. Hay
Everyone we meet, every situation we find ourselves in, represents a lesson that would teach us how to take our next step forward in the actualization of our selfhood. Everything that happens is part of a mysterious educational process in which we are subconsciously drawn to the people and situations that constitute our next assignment. With every lesson we are challenged to go deeper, become wiser & more loving. And whatever our next step is, the lesson awaits us wherever we are. — The Gift of Change, Marianne Williamson
Externally we don't change. We still look the same, dress the same, play the game as the world defines it. But something has shifted the way we see things.
In remembering the truth of where we came from, we become more open to the truth of who we are.
"Due to influx of consciousness we are witnessing on the planet now, many people no longer need to go through the depth of acute suffering to be able to dis-identify from the pain-body. When ever they notice they have slipped back into a dysfunctional state, they are able to choose to step out of the identification with thinking & increasing emotion & enter the state of presence. They relinquish resistance, become still & alert, one with what is, within & alert." — 182, The New Earth, Eckhart Tolle
"Whatever you think people are withholding from you — praise, appreciation, assistance, loving care, & so on — give it to them. You don't have it? Just act as if you had it, & it will come. Out flow determines inflow." 191

Living unconsciously means when there is the sense of 'I' in every thought, memory, viewpoint, reaction & emotion. Your thinking is conditioned by your past, upbringing, culture etc. The structure of your mind activity consists of repetitive & persistent thoughts & emotions and reactive patterns.
When you live through the mind-made self, composed of thought & emotion — that is the 'ego'. So every ego is struggling to survive, trying to protect & enlarge itself. To survive the conceptual 'I' thought, it needs the opposite thought of "the other." At one end of the scale of this unconscious egoic pattern lies the egoic compulsive habit of fault finding, complaining about others.
Complaining is one of ego's favourite strategies for strengthening itself. Whether you complain aloud or only in thought, makes no difference...
[Page 160] When you are in the grip of such an ego — which strives on complaining about others — is living unconsciously. Resentment is an emotion that goes with complaining.
Resentment goes with complaint, complaint turns into reactivity. Longstanding resentment turns into grievance.
A grievance is a long standing strong negative emotion connected to the distant past, kept alive by compulsive thinking, by re-telling the story. It will distort your perception of an event that is happening in the present. One strong grievance is enough to contaminate a large area of your life and keep you in the grip of 'ego'.
All throughout you will find that you are trying to assert yourself (ego) behind all the experiences you are having. At Ajna — Ida, Pingla & Sushumna meet. Here ur awareness expands — individual awareness drops & u transcend duality.
Ajna is the master chakra.
Each of the chakras contain stores of karma which may be gd or bad, negative or positive, painful & pleasant. The awakening of the chakras will bring to the surface an expression of those chakras & not everybody is ready to or prepared to face them. Only those who are equipped with reason & understanding can cope.
When you are concentrating on any chakra — it means Ajna is active. Any activity you do where awareness is not there, means Ajna is not active. When Ajna is developed you can get knowledge without the senses. Here the level of awareness is developed whereby one begins to 'see' the hidden essence underlying all experiences. It is after awakening of Ajna you understand laws of cause & effect.
Mooladhara — All guilt, every complex & agony is rooted here. All schizophrenia, neurotics & crazy people have not been able to get Shakti out of mooladhara chakra. Result: life is imbalanced. Remedy: have healthy sexual relationship.
Experience — levitation of astral body, floating in space. Transmutation of kundalini & ascending energy causes the astral body to disassociate from the physical body & move upward. Clairvoyance & clairaudience are experienced by activation of this chakra. During the passage from Mooladhara to Swadhisthan — lethargy, v. passionate, loud & talkative or silent. Phase of extremes. Hit start single.
Mental faculty of Ajna give the ability to witness the activity of mooladhara objectively & greater understanding (animal bonds).
Karmas of the lower stages of evolution in the form of anger, greed, jealousy, passion, love, hate etc. Here we work out the karma by expressing it.
Swadhisthana — It is said that all karmas, past lives, previous experiences. According to Tantra, each & every perception, experience & association is recorded here. Even if you look at someone who passes you by — not analyzed, but registered & filed. When kundalini is residing in this chakra, the last vestige of karma is being thrown out & all the negative samskaras express themselves & are thrown out — lethargy, intolerance, indolence & depression.
Passion becomes devotion, further spiritual experience. Loss of fear of water, intuitive knowledge, awareness of astral entities.
Manipura: centre of dynamism, energy, will power, achievement. The powers gained to the awakening of this chakra are the ability to create & destroy, self-defense, no fear of fire, freedom from disease. You actually shape your own destiny through strength of will, channelled in a positive direction.
[Note at top: Jump — Chakra of correct & positive thinking]
This chakra is directly connected with the part of the brain which is responsible for all the creative sciences & fine arts such as painting, dance, music. Consciousness is accelerated in anahata to the speed of free will in order to [burn] all of latent karmas, samskaras.
Wish fulfilling centre if awakened.
If an aspirant has not balanced the other chakras, it can be disastrous. You have to be careful about doubt. If kundalini is asleep then there have no power — but if awakened then all doubts become realities. Always [be alert].
Follow the process of selective thought. Your entire way of thinking has to change. Unconditional Love.
Voices or sound from other realms may be heard. Very sensitive to feelings of others. Tired. Love is free of expectation. Free of ego.
Vishuddhi: represents a state of openness in which life is regarded as the provider of experiences that lead to greater understanding. Allowing things to happen the way they must. When Vishuddhi awakens, higher level of awareness is gained. This centre is responsible for receiving thought vibrations from other people's mind. Centre of youth — rejuvenates tissues, cells & aging process. Free of attachment.
Sahasrara acts thru Nothing & yet again it acts through everything. It is the crown of expanded consciousness. When Kundalini reaches Sahasrar, process of self-realization or samadhi begins.

Sept. 11th Towards the end of meditation the energy started to move out. At the Ajna chakra it divided into two & gradually formed two hemispheres right and left & then both merged. What does it mean? How is life going to be diff.?
WINDOW (new neighbours)
Young couple moved into a flat. Her pouring breakfast wife saw her neighbour hanging laundry — remarked. The laundry is not very clean — some every day. Husband is silent. Till one day she finds/sees laundry is clean & remarks — she's learnt to be correctly. I wonder who taught her this.
Husband — I cleared our window this morning.
"It is with life... what u see watching others depends on the purity of the window we look through. Before you give any criticism, it might be gd idea to check our state of mind & ask ourselves whether u are really ready to see the good..."

Father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is life. It gives you back everything you say or do."
A son & his father were walking in the mountains. Suddenly his son falls & hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhh!!!"
To his surprise he hears a voice repeating somewhere in the mountains "AAAhhhh!!!" Curious he yells, "Who are you?"
He receives the answer "Who are you?" Angered at the response, he yells, "Coward!" He receives the answer "Coward!"
He looks at his father & asks "What is going on?" The father smiles & says: "my son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you"! The voice answers: "I admire you"! Again the man screams: "You are a champion!" The voice answers: "You are a champion!"
The boy is surprised but does not understand. Then the...
"When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it not doing well. It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce. Yet if we have a problem with a friend or family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce. Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason & argument."
That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding. If you understand, & you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change.
Two men, both seriously ill occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours — about their families, vacations, military service, etc. Every afternoon when the man by the window could sit up, he would describe to his room mate all the things he could see outside. People, children, lovers, rainbow, rain, trees, the sky line, clouds etc.
The other man could see with his mind's eye the seen described. Days & weeks passed. One morning, the nurse arrived with water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window. She was saddened & called the hospital attendant to take the body away.
As soon as it was appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window.
The man propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly look out of the window beside his bed. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased room-mate who had described such wonderful things outside the window. The nurse responded that the man was blind & could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."
Epilogue: There is tremendous happiness in making others happy despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared is doubled.
"If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy." "Today is a gift, that is why it is called the present."

A dove was constantly changing her nest. The strong smell the nests had developed over time was unbearable for her. She complained about this bitterly as she spoke with a wise, old & experienced dove. The latter nodded his head several times and said, "By changing your nest all the time, you don't change anything. The smell that bothers you does not come from the nests, but from you."
A new monk arrives at the monastery. He is assigned to help the other monks in copying the old texts by hand. He notices, however, that they are copying from copies, not the original manuscripts. So, the new monk goes to the head monk to ask him about this. He points out that if there were an error in the first copy, that error would be contd. in all of the other copies. The head monk says, "we have been copying from the copies for centuries, but u make a good point, my son." So, he goes down into the cellar with one of the copies to check it against the original.
Hours go by and no nobody sees him. So one of the monks goes downstairs to look for him. He hears sobbing...
[Page 176] ...coming from the back of the cellar, and finds the old monk leaning over one of the original books, crying. He asks the old monk what is wrong, and in a choked voice came a reply... "The word is celebrate!"
