Retreat in Dharamshala, April 2024

Dates: Friday, 19th April, Saturday, 20th, Sunday, 21st April, 2024

Note: This is an immersive retreat where full participation is requested over the three days. It is advised to check in on 18^th April (a day prior to the retreat) and check out on 22^nd April. Udechee Huts is offering a discounted rate for this retreat, details of which are under Stay section in this page.

Tentative daily schedule:

Satsang: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Meditation: 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm

After-dinner meetup: 8:30 pm – 9:15 pm

Contribution to cover Gautam’s expenses:

Gautam does not charge any fee for his time and for conducting the retreat. Some volunteers have thus far made the arrangements for venue, travel, equipment, etc. to support the coming together of others too who may benefit from the teaching.

So that Gautam’s expenses get evenly distributed amongst all participants, we request a contribution of a minimum of 9000/- (Nine Thousand INR) per participant to cover Gautam’s basic costs of travel, food and accommodation. It would be greatly appreciated so we as a collective can equally support the teaching.

Refund Policy:

Cancellation by participants:

If a cancellation is made more than 30 days before the retreat, a full refund of your contribution amount (minimum 9000/-) will be provided.

Please note that it does not include your personal flight and accommodation bookings and you may refer to the airline and hotel refund policies.

If a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the retreat but more than a week before the scheduled date, a 50% refund will be issued.

Cancellations made within a week before the retreat will not be eligible for a refund.

Cancellation of the Event:

In the unlikely circumstance of the event being canceled, 100% refund of your contribution amount will be provided.

Please confirm your participation by sending the remittance of the contribution (a minimum of INR 9000/-) and filling in the form below, AND also emailing us here. Please make your own arrangements for accommodation and food, and pay your hotel of choice directly for it.

WhatsApp Group:

You will be added to a temporary WhatsApp group closer to the retreat date. This will be the point of communication amongst the participants and the organizers.

Contribution Fee Waiver:
We can consider waiving the contribution fee of Rs. 9000 ((Nine Thousand INR) for individuals who would like to attend the retreat but facing financial challenges, with a limited allocation of upto 3 waivers. Please fill in this form if you need one. Please note, you will still need to make your own arrangements and pay for your accommodation and food.

Stay:

It is advisable to stay at or around Udechee Huts, depending on one’s budget.

Udechee Huts is offering a discounted rate for this retreat. The rate is discounted by 10% of what their website offers and 15-20% of what third party websites like makemytrip offer.
