Retreats provide time and space for uninterrupted immersion in the Teachings and to be with Gautam for longer than usual. Participants will attend talks and meditations with Gautam in this venerated town during the retreat. This is an immersive retreat held over three days for people over the age of 18 years.

Until now, the Tiruvannamalai retreats have been offered without requiring a contribution from participants, in the spirit of openness and trust.
However, we observed that some individuals registered but did not attend and did not have the courtesy to inform the team of their absence. As a result, sincere seekers on the waiting list were deprived of the opportunity to participate.
A spiritual gathering is a space of commitment and integrity. When one registers, it is a sacred agreement; not merely a casual booking simply because no monetary contribution is mandatory.
Therefore, beginning with the 2027 Tiruvannamalai retreat, a contribution for participation will be introduced. This will ensure responsible registration and will also help cover necessary expenses such as venue costs, filming and editing, tea, coffee, and related arrangements, which until now have been sponsored by a few generous participants.
At the same time, we do not wish anyone to be deprived of the teachings due to financial constraints. Participants facing genuine financial difficulties, as well as college students, may apply for a waiver or scholarship through the designated form which we will consider. We remain committed to ensuring that sincerity, not financial capacity, is what determines participation. We will review your application and let you know if we are able to accommodate your request.
All participants, including those requesting a waiver, must arrange and pay for their own stay and meals.

| Dates | January 22 (Friday), 23 (Saturday) and 24 (Sunday), 2027. Please plan to arrive on Thursday, January 21 before the retreat begins and leave on Monday, January 25, after the retreat ends. This allows for uninterrupted attendance of sessions over the three days. |

| Venue | Sparsa Resort in Tiruvannamalai. Participants are welcome to stay at Sparsa or around; accommodation within a short distance of the venue is often the best for a full immersive experience. |
| Registration | Registration is mandatory for anyone who would like to participate in this retreat. You may book your place in the retreat by paying the contribution and filling the registration form. Participants need to be 18+ years old. Registration is now open for this retreat. (The Registration Form is at the bottom of this page) |
| WhatsApp Group | Once you have transferred the contribution and filled the registration form, it is mandatory to join the WhatsApp group (messages sent from Admins only). This group is used for sharing all retreat-related information such as travel advisories, schedules, venues for informal gatherings etc. Your request to join the group will be approved only after registration is completed. |
| Contribution | The fee for each participant is Rs.11,000/- only. Please make your contribution here. Contributions help us cover the expenses of travel, hiring the venue, filming, editing, transport of equipment etc. They also go a long way in helping us spread the Teaching and cover recurring expenses that are incurred in the process. Please note, we are unable to accept cash contributions. While making an international remittance, please put in ‘retreat fees’ as the purpose of the money transfer (not ‘contribution’ or ‘donation’). This contribution does not cover your travel, stay and accommodation in Tiruvannamalai. |

| Attendance | Participants understand that they commit to attending all sessions of the retreat upon registration. Those who have not registered for the retreat will not be allowed to attend. |
| Travel, Stay and Food | All participants are required to arrange travel, accommodation and food for themselves. Tiruvannamalai is very busy during this time and hotels are usually fully booked. We advise that you book your accommodation well in advance. We also recommend booking tickets that are fully refundable and cancellable. Unforeseen global or geopolitical developments could create uncertainties that disrupt plans and lead to cancellation of retreats. |

| Travel to and from Tiruvannamalai | Many participants take a car/taxi from Chennai and Bangalore airports to Tiru. Trains and buses are also available from these cities to Tiru. You are welcome to find and coordinate with other participants on the WhatsApp group. |
| Travel within Tiruvannamalai | Participants can hire autorickshaws, bikes, scooters or cars for travel within Tiru. Most hotel owners or fellow participants will be able to help you with leads. |
